As the New Year approaches, we turn our attention to making small changes in our lives that will increase our health, happiness and strengthen our relationships. The floral experts at Robertson's Flowers believe that flowers can accomplish all of these things. Here’s how:
Flowers boost creativity. Studies show that having bright colors near you when you're doing creative work allows for more open thinking. Surround yourself with your favorite flowers in your favorite hues to add creative energy to your work.
Flowers reduce stress. Gazing at the color green, especially green plants and the leafy foliage that comes with flowers, is known to lower stress and anxiety levels. Having flowers near you as you work is a great way to reduce stress.
Flowers help you strengthen relationships. Taking care of another living thing will lead to more compassion, more empathy and more emphasis on others around you. What great qualities to bring into any relationship! Read More about New Year’s Blooms »

Dear Santa,
My favorite flower enthusiast has been very good this year, so I'm asking you to bring a few things I know she'll love.
A new gardening tool set. She loves tending to her flowers, and having a fresh set of tools, gloves, gathering baskets and garden decor will give her even more to work with.
A coffee table book about flowers. When it's too cold to tend to the garden, she can curl up with a warm cup of tea and peruse the colorful pages for what she'll include in her garden next season.
Beautiful flower pots and vases. Between growing flowers from seeds to displaying her bright blooms, there is always a need for new containers.
You can also talk to the experts at Robertson's Flowers, too- they have some amazing holiday gifts for flower lovers. Read More about The Dear Santa Letter For Flower Lovers »

There are many ways to create a gorgeous table for Thanksgiving, but we're particular fans of blending a robust sense of tradition with a more current vibe. The modern Thanksgiving table is unique in that it hews to our most cherished customs but leaves room for an update, whether that's in putting a twist on the dishes we prepare or in how we set our table. What matters most is who is gathered around it, and these days, it's more than just family we're inviting. Friends, colleagues, neighbors, teachers . . . If they matter to us, they're included in our Thanksgiving dinner, making for a rich, inviting experience. And at the heart of it, there's flowers. Read More about A Modern & Stylish Thanksgiving »
